Privacy policy

This policy sets out what happens to information you give Axel Garage Door Repairs through this website. It is written to match what the site actually does rather than to cover every practice a website could theoretically have, on the view that a policy describing features we do not run is worse than none.

What we collect.

The only place this site accepts information is the callback form. It asks for your name, a phone number, a description of what your door is doing, a preferred callback window, and an optional message. That is the complete list, and every field but the last is there so somebody can ring you back about the right door.

What we do not collect.

There is no written-contact field anywhere on this site and we never ask for one. There is no list, no bulletin and no signup of any kind. We do not ask for a postal address, a date of birth, or any payment detail, because no payment is taken through this website at any point.

Analytics and tracking.

This site runs no analytics whatsoever. There is no measurement script, no tag manager, no advertising or conversion pixel, no session recording, no heat mapping and no chat widget. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to hand to an advertising network even if one asked.

Cookies.

We set none of our own, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The framework the site is built on may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies needed to serve pages correctly. Those carry no identifier useful for tracking and are never read for any analytic purpose.

The map.

The location map is an embedded Google Maps frame loaded by coordinates rather than by address. When it loads, Google receives that request and may set cookies or collect data under its own policy, over which we have no control. The frame is loaded lazily, so if you never scroll to it, it is never requested at all.

What a callback request is for.

Exactly one thing: ringing you back about your door. It is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to a marketing company, and it is never used to contact you about something you did not raise with us yourself.

How long we keep it.

Callback details are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up work arising from it, and are disposed of after that.

Children.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes.

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date of the change is noted here.
